Faced with the unprecedented challenge of living more sustainably, The Michael Young Family Foundation launched Our Anthropocene Project, a locally-led, globally-minded movement to regenerate our environment together with our communities—near the sea, on land, and in cities. The Salinas Nature Reserve is one project amongst several others that, together, strive to improve our global ecosystems in ways that empower the surrounding communities to thrive. MYFF is committed to sponsoring the planning and preliminary remediation work required to establish the Nature Reserve, and has initiated this commitment with The Bahamas National Trust in partnership with the International Conservation Fund of Canada.
